Spiritual Bath Tips

  1. Before having a spiritual bath, you are expected to make some necessary plans and preparations. Firstly, ask yourself the reason why you need to take a spiritual bath.
  2. After discovering your intention, choose a suitable time to perform this ritual. Performing a spiritual bath during a full moon is highly recommended.
  3. Note that before taking a spiritual bath, your physical body should be clean.
  4. Bless the water before entering into the tub. You can invoke your special loas, gods, goddesses, orishas, etc.
  5. Soak yourself from head to toe in the tub. Spend like 15 minutes and while you are inside, meditate on your intention. You can also do whatever you are comfortable with such as singing, visualization, sitting in silence, etc..
  6. Expel all your negativity then watch as the water goes down the drain. With the last drop of water, say “Let it be so”.
  7. Allow your body to dry. Do not use a towel.
  8. After this ritual, clean your tub with salt water. You can also cleanse any other object that was used during the ritual.
  9. Finally, note that you can always use your favorite incense during this ritual.
